Jesus Speaks about the Future
Jesus Speaks about the Future
“Some of his disciples began talking about the majestic stonework of the Temple and the memorial decorations on the walls. But Jesus said, 6 “The time is coming when all these things will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!”
7 “Teacher,” they asked, “when will all this happen? What sign will show us that these things are about to take place?”
8 He replied, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’* and saying, ‘The time has come!’ But don’t believe them. 9 And when you hear of wars and insurrections, don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place first, but the end won’t follow immediately.” - NLT

1. Glance at God's Foundation
1. Glance at God's Foundation
“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.” -NLT
The grandeur of the temple of Jewish people represented religious stability for many. However, Jesus’ shocking prediction of its destruction serves as a reminder that even the most seemingly permanent structures in our lives can crumble when build outside of Christ. In chapter 19(41-44) we told the Jesus wept over the city of Jerusalem because they refused to accept Christ. Jesus Christ Himself replaces earthly symbols as our firm foundation, and to place our ultimate trust in Him, who is unchanging and eternal.

2. Guard Against Deception
Matthew 24:35
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”
Jesus emphasizes the danger of being led astray by false messiahs and prophets. This suggests that sensitivity is crucial for believers, who must rely on Christ’s words to guide them through spiritual deceptions. Study Scripture diligently and maintain a prayerful life to help you recognize God's truth amid confusion. Prov.4:23 “Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.”
3. Grasp Hope in Chaos
3. Grasp Hope in Chaos
Lk 21:9
Jesus warns of wars and rumors, advising not to be terrified. These occurrences are inevitable but are not the end. This reassures believers that even amidst chaos, our faith in Christ provides peace and resilience. I urging you to anchor your hope and security in Jesus promises of comfort and strength, reaffirmed that He holds the future, He provides guidance for navigating troubling times.
Don't Let anyone led you astray- from what is right either physically, ethically, or spiritually. Do Not Let Anyone Deceive You -to “wander”—that is, having no direction or purpose away fro Jesus Christ. Trust in the LORD JESUS with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
